Dr. Naik on the ASH Hematology-Focused Fellowship Training Program

Rakhi Naik, MD, MHS, a classical hematologist at the John Hopkins School of Medicine, is the chair of the Hematology-Focused Fellowship Training Program organized by the American Society of Hematology.

She spoke with Heme Today to describe the program’s goals, how much progress has been made, and what’s next. Dr. Naik also commented on the current landscape of hematology and what challenges practitioners face in the management of what are often rare and lifelong diseases.
