He also covered dealing with large-bore access, distal perfusion, and vascular complications.

Dr. Lichaa notes this challenge has arisen more frequently recently, given “the expansion of complex interventions through alternative vascular access structural interventions and also with cardiologists intervening more on the peripheral and training more in that world.”
